We Wear Pink

At the Creek, we wear pink during Pink Spirit Days in October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We also wear pink in honor of Bev Keegan, a very special Creeker who lost her battle with Breast Cancer in 2012. Bev was part of the team that opened Mill Creek, and she was the school's first librarian. The Pink Spirit Days and accompanying apparel sale help raise money for the Molly Keegan Scholarship Fund to benefit Bev's daughter Molly.

Halloween Update

In light of the attention regarding some of the social media posts of late, we (and all CB elementary schools) are asking you to avoid clown costumes for this year's Halloween parade and classroom parties. Our goal is to prevent unnecessarily upsetting any students who have a fear of clowns based on recent events. We appreciate your support and understanding with this.

Mill Creek Musicians in Concert

Ten of Mill Creek’s string students will perform with the group “Barrage” next week. Barrage is not your typical string group. This professional string group performs all over the country and is sure to entertain and delight our CB students! Prior to the concert, the students will rehearse with the group and also get a chance to learn about the life of professional musicians (and the hard work and determination needed for music performances and all aspects of life!).

Students performing from Mill Creek are: Ben E., Ethan K., Emily C., Samuel K., Allison Z., Nora S., Sophie P., Lucy F., Katie H., and Olivia H.

The concert is Thursday, October 20th at 7:00 at CB East Auditorium (See details about the performance below).
