A "High-Paw" for the Warwick PTO

A student visited my office around mid-day on Wednesday to deliver the below letter. He wrote this on his own time and simply wanted to say thank you. Our students have important ideas, and valuable voices. I'm proud to share his thanks with our school community. As he so aptly wrote, "We give you a high-paw and a warm Warwick thank you."

Warwick's Annual Turkey Toss, December 7 - December 11 during your child's phys. ed class!

During the week of December 7th, during Phys. Ed Class, all students will take part in shooting basketballs and "tossing turkeys" in a friendly competition to see which class can score the most points. The important part of this fun day is to donate $1.00 or what you can, at the start of the class. These donations will be collected at the beginning of your child's physical education class and all money collected will go toward purchasing turkeys or hams for the holiday baskets, which will be distributed to needy families in the area. At the end of the week, the class with the highest point total from the "turkey toss" will be awarded the "Turkey Trophy" to be displayed in the classroom for the rest of this school year. What a wonderful way to help others and have fun too!
