Methamphetamine is a synthetic drug with rapid and lasting affects
Methamphetamine is also known as meth, speed, chalk, Tina, Crank, Glass, Go fast.
Effects and dangers
Meth is usually smoked, snorted and injected. It releases dopamine into the brain which causes users to feel happy. It can cause mood swings, severe dental problems (Meth mouth), violent behavior, irregular heart rate, elevated body temperature and even death.
Approximately 13 million people over the age of 12 have used Meth, 529,000 are regular users. Also, 4.5% of high school seniors and 4.1% of tenth graders have tried Meth at least once
Don't start. When high, users fell very happy, but when the affects where off users feel very depressed and go back to it.
