Community Showcase to celebrate Black History Month
On February 28, we hosted a Black History Month Student Showcase. We had an excellent turn out from the community. Students recited poems, sang songs, danced and the step team performed. We also had special guests, Rev. Privott, ECPS Board Chair and the East End Baptist Church choir. A special thanks to everyone who contributed to make this event such a success! Check out a few pictures from the event below.
Check out the hands-on learning these students are doing as they practice their math skills in Coach Gold's class! In these pictures students are building sub floors for mini houses.

A few reminders:
- The tardy bell rings at 8:05am. Please make sure your student is in the building by 8:05am. Students not in class by 8:05am will receive tardy documentation.
- 11:40am is the halfway point in the school day. If your student checks in after this time or checks out before this time, he/she will be counted absent for the entire day.
- All students must be in uniform daily. See the image below for uniform expectations.
