School Newsletter - March 3, 2021

From the Principal's Desk

Dear Hazeldale Family,

What have you been reading? As a child, I loved to read fiction books that connected with me. I could easily get lost in a book. I remember starting and finishing a book all in one day because it was so good. Now as an adult, I read lots of non-fiction books. I just love learning new things about how to do things, how others think, and how to make the world a better place for all!

I hope you find time to snuggle up to a good book this week!

Kids Heart Challenge Update!!

Thank you to everyone who came to the PE supply/Kids Heart Challenge prize pickup at the yesterday. We are now halfway through the Kids Heart Challenge program and have already passed our school goal of raising $4,500 and saving 90 lives!!!! We are true heart heroes here at Hazeldale!!! You have another week to fundraise so keep up the good work. Since we've already met our goal that means I will be dying my beard rainbow colors!!! I will make sure the whole school gets in on that fun soon. We still haven't determined which class gets the virtual lunch with me or how many students get to slime myself and Mr Culbert. There is still time for you to earn those rewards and earn all the fun Kids Heart Challenge prizes.

The next PE supply/Kids Heart Challenge prize pickup will be FRIDAY, MARCH 19TH FROM 11:00-12:00 AND 5:00-6:00. This will be the last time to turn in your fundraising packet or donate online for the program. Hope to see you all on the 19th Hazeldale Heart Heroes!!!!!
