This week we celebrated Counselor Appreciation Week. Our Counselors, School Psychologist and School-Based Therapist play an important role in supporting our Raptors' socio-emotional needs. Our Raptors wrote letters of appreciation to our team. In addition, the Stuart staff and admin team showed our appreciation through several activities we organized for them. The mental health of your Raptors matters very much. If at any time you feel your child needs support, please do not hesitate to reach out to them. They truly are an amazing group of professionals who care very much our our Raptors.

Stuart's Vaccine Rates
The state has changed some of the immunization process in response to new legislation. We are not required to provide our Stuart community with specific information regarding our vaccination rates.

Check It Out Night at PVHS
Prairie View High School has organized a Check It Out Night for al 8th graders who will be attending Prairie View. PVHS Counselors will be hosting 2 live Q&A sessions for students and parents to attend and zoom links will be posted on PVHS' website as well as their social media outlets.
February 18th: 5:30-6:30 pm - 6:30-7:30 PM (Solamente en Español)
February 19: 7:30-8:20 AM
What: PVHS Check It Out Night
When: Presentation will be available beginning the evening of February 16.
Who: All incoming 8th grade parents and students attending PVHS for the 2021-2022 school year.
Why: To show what PVHS has to offer for programs and pathways and to meet the 2022+ graduation demonstrations.
Raptor Café!
Purpose: The PURPOSE of Raptor Café is to provide a universal and/or targeted opportunity for students to receive general support related to technology, Google Classroom navigation, communication with teachers, organization, grade checks and general assignment questions, including CER writing structure, locating resources and moving through stuck points.
If your child is struggling with managing or access assignments or support, please remind them to attend Raptor Café.
