In the documentary, Forks over Knives, studies show.....
doctor Campbell fed half of his rats 20% of of casein (found in dairy products) and fed the other half of his rats 5% casein. Over the 12 weeks of the study, the rats eating the higher protein diet had a great re enhanced level of early liver cancer tumor growth. The other rats given only 5% casein, had no evidence of cancer. Instead of keeping his test rats on the same diet throughout the study, he kept them at one group and switched their diets back and fourth. Between 5% and 20% dairy protein, doing so at 3 week intervals, the results were outstanding. Whenever he fed the rats 20% protein, early liver tumor growth exploded, but when the same rats were given 5% dairy, tumor growth went down.
