In order to maintain continuity and uniformity within the PTA leadership at Mulberry we would like to amend the bylaws as follows:
Article VI, Section 4, b. by striking out 2 consecutive years and inserting 3 consecutive years with the third year being used to train/apprentice new officers.
Article VI, Section 7 c. by striking "in April" and inserting "by May 1". This change will allow for the PTA vote to coincide with the schoolwide calendar.
A copy of the bylaws will be kept in the front of the school for the next 30 days. If you have any questions or concerns please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
In accordance with bylaws, we are looking for 5 volunteers to serve on a nominating committee to help elect the Executive Board for the 2015-2016 school year. For more information please email email@example.com. Thanks.

MES Multicultural Night Program Call for Volunteers
Parents, teachers and staff, and community members are invited to join the PTA Culture Committee to organize a new program celebrating our MES multicultural community. The MES multicultural program will be launched at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year with the culminating event taking place in mid-late Spring 2016.
The steering committee will develop guidelines for student participation and family & community engagement. All ideas are welcomed! It could be a multicultural celebration night with food, storytelling, exhibitions and performances. It could be a year-long effort with a student art and/or living history project. It could also be monthly opportunities to share and learn about various cultures, beliefs, and traditions celebrated in our MES community and throughout our global world.
If you are interested in volunteering on the steering committee or would like more information, please contact email@example.com
