Suspension
A boy suspended for humming the National Anthem
First, I spoke to Dr. Seymour. When I asked him if he had a rule against singing "The Star-Spangled Banner", he said "Of course not. Whatever gave you that idea? The answer is no. We do not have such a rule. Absolutely"
Next, I spoke to Dr. Doane. She said "I'm not sure that I should be discussing this matter with you. Records regarding our children are of a confidential nature. I don't know the particulars of this situation. You've only just informed me about it. I see no reason to be talking to a reporter about a student's problem. In any case, it doesn't seem to have happened. The superintendent told you we have no such rule."
I also spoke with Dr. Palleni. He told me "No comment."
Last, I spoke to Mrs. Narwin who seems to be the cause of all of this. She told me that "The boy was creating a serious disturbance."
This is the only information that I've been informed with. I'll let you know more once I do some more research.
