Summer Reading Program at the Livermore Public Library

Summer reading is always important but is especially so in this difficult pandemic year. The Livermore Public Library’s Summer Reading Program keeps children active and engaged in learning over the summer and can help them keep up their reading and math skills for the fall. This summer, The Livermore Public Library is offering an app-based reading tracking system (and paper gameboards for those that need them) and participants can earn badges and prizes. The Summer Reading program is available free to everyone, from babies to adults. People can register for the game at livermorelibrary.net starting May 10 and the program officially begins on June 1. We also have a Community Reading Goal of 500,000 minutes this summer. Students can track their time spent reading to contribute to the community goal.
