A Message From Dr. Kuras
I hope this message finds you happy, healthy, and enjoying the Autumn Season. I want to thank you for your ongoing support, flexibility, and consideration. While our students continue to persevere during a time that can be compared to no other, the West Freehold School staff never ceases to amaze me. They continually overcome obstacles and adjust to changes made to benefit the health and safety of our community. The teaching staff spends time each week in coaching sessions pertaining to pedagogy, technology tools, curriculum, and assessment. They remain dedicated to their craft and improving the learning experience for your child.
As we enter into another phase of remote teaching and learning, I encourage you to remain a support system for your child. Your child will be able to rely on the stability of their established classroom routines and the positivity of their teachers as they continue to connect with them each day. With your help, we ask that all students login at the assigned time every morning and remain an active participant in their learning throughout the day. Please know that we are here to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of all of our students. In order to best meet their needs, we need virtual access to your child each day. If you have any problems with making this daily connection, we ask that you first report the situation to your child’s assigned teacher and then to the West Freehold School Main Office. Our top priority is to remedy any connectivity issues between your child and their teacher.
This Thanksgiving provides us with time to reflect upon what and who we are grateful for in our lives. This year, I am especially grateful for the love I receive at home and the support and inspiration I receive from the people I work with each day. May the time spent with the people in your life rejuvenate your spirit and warm your heart. And as this season continues, I hope that all of us experience the kindness and grace that we bestow upon others.
Wishing you good health and happiness during this time.
Warmly,
Anne Kuras, Ed.D.
