What Climate Change Is
Climate change is the warming of the earth. Over time, climate change has been happening gradually, but in the past 10 years it's been changing extremely quickly. The rise of climate change has been largely due to the burning of fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are created by burning things like oil and coal, which then releases greenhouse gases into the air. Although the burning of fossils fuels is the biggest factor, other things that humans do, like deforestation, have lead to the incline of global warming. The effects of climate change
Climate change has been making sea levels rise, temperatures on earth rise, seasons shift, etc. More heat related deaths have been happening since climate change has been rising, and the hottest recorded years have happened within the past 20 years. 2015 was the hottest year on earth ever recorded! in California, 2014 was the hottest year they've ever recorded since they started recording in 1880. Also, because of the rising temperatures, rain and snow fall has been happening less and vegetation has been moving to colder places and up mountains to get the precipitation it needs in order to live.
