Women's rights in the United States
Overview
Discrimination is something that women face around the world. In the U.S although women's rights have improved, people mistakenly believe women are not discriminated against here. But women earn less than men, experience violence, and do not hold the same top positions in politics or business as men.
Egypt: Women Unemployed
- Unemployment for women in Egypt is 23% of the entire female working population and for male it is only 5.2% of working population
- Unemployment for men has decreased from 6% to 5% from 2007 to 2009 . And in the same period the number of employment for women increased by approximately 5%.
- One difference that women and males have is that women's guidance on promoting better hygiene and health.
