Help as COVID-Era SNAP Benefits End
In March, additional COVID-era Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits have come to an end. For Ohio families receiving help in buying groceries through SNAP, this means monthly benefit amounts will be cut significantly as program payments go back to pre-pandemic levels.
To help SNAP recipients and the public understand and prepare for this change, our partners at the Mid-Ohio Food Collective (MOFC) has prepared answers to some frequently asked questions. Families who have general questions about SNAP or who need help applying for other benefits can contact MOFC’s Benefits and Customer Outreach Team at 614-782-5503 or use the link below.
