Kindergarten Spring Program
I want to thank all of you for your help with today's program. Talk about phenomenal teamwork! The students were awesome thanks to you! Everyone helped out in some way!
So the newsletter has to thank the entire ELC Family for a Great Job!
Friday the 13th
Friday the 13th, also known as Black Friday, is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition. It occurs when the 13th day of the month in the Gregorian calendar falls on a Friday. The superstition surrounding this day may have arisen in the Middle Ages. The fear of the number 13 has been given a scientific name: "triskaidekaphobia"; and an analogy to this the fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskevidekatriaphobia. Now that is a real mouthful!
OASYS Dates
Since today is Early Release, you might choose to begin to upload your saved Artifacts under the standards. No more than 3 artifacts are necessary, and if you have one good one, that is sufficient. The Documentation Log is due May 1st, 2015. This is before your End of Year testing begins. Included in it are your Parent communication log, and Professional Development Log. You can place your two classroom visits in it as well. Please see me if you have questions or need help with uploading artifacts.

Fundations Training
This week Jen Gilbertson and Lauren Guelig participated in a Coaching Day from our Fundations trainer, Annette Williams. She demonstrated lessons for the trainees for some ELC and FLC students. The next two days fall in April. Then our teachers will practice the strategy with the materials and students, and be observed by the rest of us.
