Your Connection for School-to-Home Information
Ways to Stay Connected With School
Greetings from a very busy Delaware Elementary School! While winter is the season when many things slow down, at school, it's just the opposite! We have so many wonderful things going on at school, and we hope you feel connected to your child's weekly events.
Rather than robo-calling with our Connect5 system, I've opted for texting, emailing, and Facebook to let our families know about special events at school. I hope you have found these to be helpful! If you want to find us on Facebook, look here (and like our page):
https://www.facebook.com/Delaware-Elementary-School-257699084267273/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel
If you would like to receive our text alerts, simply open your phone's texting app, and in the TO: field, type the numbers 81010 - in the MESSAGE field, type @delawar
You will receive a confirmation text, and then you will begin receiving our text updates.
Schools are very busy places with many activities going on daily - we want to make certain you feel connected to our weekly events and special fun days!
As always, I am available to speak with you in person, over the phone, or by email if you need anything. We are here to partner with you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Stephanie Young, Principal

If you enroll online, you will still need to provide us with updated immunization records for your child, a copy of their birth certificate, a copy of their social security card, and proof of your residence (current City Utilities bill, current rental or lease agreement, voter registration card, or certified mail dated within the last 30 days).
If you would like to fill out the paper version of the the enrollment packet and have a child that currently attends Delaware School, please call Mrs. Rachelle in the office and she'll send one home with the older sibling.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Mrs. Young highly recommends incoming kindergarten students attend at least one of the EXLPORE! summer sessions, which will be held at Delaware School. In order for you to enroll your child into EXLPORE, your child will need a Student ID, which they only receive upon enrollment.
