Website Designs
All four members of our group created two designs each for our website we are going to create, here are my two designs:
Website Outline
Design #1
Evaluation
This design is/has:
- To be created by every member of the team with equal contribution
- Clear headings and introduction on every page of the website
- Excellent layout and stylish website
- Live and public (everyone can see it), and aim to have more than 100 visitors
- Clear and focused theme
I think this design is good because it's simple, organised and detailed at the same time. It has everything we have to have on our website and has all the design specification for our website.
Design #2
Evaluation
This design is/has:
- To be created by every member of the team with equal contribution
- Clear headings and introduction on every page of the website
- Excellent layout and stylish website
- Live and public (everyone can see it), and aim to have more than 100 visitors
- Clear and focused theme
I think the first design is better than this one, because although this design also has all the design specification, I finished this in a hurry and it's not as stylish and detailed as the first one.
Video Designs
We also each created two designs/story boards for the cooking video that we are going to make, and here are my two designs/story boards:
Design/Story Board #1
Evaluation
This design is/has:
- Created by every member of the team with equal contribution
- An excellent video that includes all original video footage
- Clear and detailed cooking instructions
- Excellent quality of sound
- Clear and focused theme
This design is good because it has all original video footage and clear and detailed instructions. It will also have good quality of sound.
Design/Story Board #2
Evaluation
This design is/has:
- Created by every member of the team with equal contribution
- An excellent video that includes all original video footage
- Clear and detailed cooking instructions
- Excellent quality of sound
- Clear and focused theme
Just like the first one, this design also has everything we should have in our video, all original video footage, good sound quality, clear and detailed instructions and also showed the ingredients we need. I think both are good designs.
QR Code Maze/Treasure Hunt
We created two designs of the QR code race/treasure hunt, and here are my two designs:
First Design
1. In technology classroom: do 5 push ups in front of a member of our group to get the 1st QR code (clue).
2. The 1st QR code says: [on technology classroom's door] find a pieces of paper under a chair.
3. The piece of paper with QR code says: a place where you must be quiet (don't go inside) find "Choose Kind".
4. QR code on the "Choose Kind" board outside the library says: there's something under the big fish you step on everyday. [QR code under the front stair with the painting of the big fish].
5. The QR code says: who was the main who created this big fish? Say "I like it" to that person in "her" room to get the next clue.
6. QR code from Ms. Anna says: swing low sweet chariot. CLUE: it's a place.
7. Music room: do gangam style dance in front of a group member for 30 seconds to get the next clue. [QR code]
8. QR code says: why is 6 afraid of 7? you can either find the right answer or give up and sing a song for 1 minute to get the next clue. [a group member supervising].
9. QR code says: you are almost there! Go find a letter in the library. CLUE: yellow on white.
10. Letter says: did you eat 'lunch'? this is the last step, the treasure is waiting for you. Say "thank you" to the right person and 'she' will bring your treasure to you. [the woman selling juice will give a zenya that our group bought in the beginning]
Evaluation
This design is/has:
- Created by every member of the team with equal contribution
- Easy to follow, challenging, interesting, fun and without error
- Clear and focused theme
I think this design is good but might have a few small errors, because it involves many people (teachers, juice seller). The teachers involved might be having class while the treasure hunt is going on and won't be able to help us, if that happens, we would have to change the plan and give the clues for free. Except from that, this design in my opinion is interesting, fun and challenging but not SO hard, I really like this design.
Second Design
1. QR code on a table in technology class says: behind a desktop.
2. QR code behind a computer says: go to the library and find a book with a name that has the word 'fun' in it. NOTE: NO asking the librarians for help. Get a QR code [a member supervising].
3. The QR code says: go to music room, play any instrument, get a QR code.
4. The QR code says: go to the playground, find a QR code. [under a swing].
5. The QR code says: go to the cafeteria, do 10 sit ups, finish half can of coke, get the next clue.
6. The clue: somewhere in the 2nd floor's bathroom [QR code behind door].
7. QR code says: solve ----------(a math problem). Get another QR code.
8. The QR code says: go back to where you started.
9. In the technology room, receive a letter that says: hope you enjoyed your time traveling, the treasure is somewhere in this room, with a yellow sticker on it.
10. Technology room, in one of the drawers: a pack of candy.
Evaluation
This design is/has:

- Easy to follow, challenging, interesting, fun and without error
- Clear and focused theme
I like this design too, but less than the 1st design, because even though this design might have less errors, the 1st design is more creative and challenging. In this design, I like the simple final stage where the treasurer has to find the treasure which is a pack of candy, and the QR code in the playground stages, because they are simple but challenging. The thing I don't like about this design is the the clue in the bathroom and the solving math problem stages, because they are so old school, boring and not creative. This design has more flaws since I rushed to finish it, because class time was running out and I didn't have time to really get creative and think about the details.
Motivational Poster Designs
Evaluation
This design has:
- Been created by every member of the team - with equal contribution
- Excellent titles, subheading and introductions on every page of the website and poster
- Excellent layout and stylish website and poster
- Website should be live and public and aim to have over 100 visitors
- The whole project must have a unifying theme (team-name, logo, font & color scheme)
I like this design because it's simple and neat and it's also stylish.

This design is also good, because it's really stylish. It has a lot of pictures and only a few words, I think that's a good thing because pictures can attract people and if there are a lot of words, people won't even want to read or look at the poster for details.

I don't really like this design, because it's not creative and stylish enough. There are a lot of pictures but also a lot of words as well, and the layout looks rigid and boring.
