What is disciple now (DNOW) weekend?

DNOW weekend is a time where as a youth group we take the whole weekend and go all in in worship, small groups, missions, and this year Winter Jam! Winter Jam is a youth conference in Atlanta where a lot of bands and speakers come and perform/speak for a few hours. We will be doing that Saturday afternoon/evening and students will need to bring an additional $15 cash to get in and money for supper inside State Farm Arena.

  • “Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith.” - Hebrews 12:1-2

  • Most of the students in our ministry, at some point in their lives, have become a Christ-follower. At some point, they knew they were sinners separated from God. They learned that Jesus paid the once-and-for-all price for their sins, making peace between God and them. And in faith, they accepted His sacrifice on their behalf. At some point this was experienced by many of our students. And it was amazing.

  • The problem is that, for many of them, their stories don’t go much further than this. But this doesn’t have to be the case.

  • NEXT: Growing A Faith That Lasts, will help our students begin to lay the foundation of a faith that will last long into their adult life. By teaching NEXT, our students will know why it’s so important to own their faith. We will help them think differently about their purpose and influence, as well as equipping them to practice the spiritual habits necessary to grow a meaningful faith.

How You Can Serve

One of the great benefits of staying locally for DNOW is there are ample areas to serve in for this weekend. If you are wanting to know how you can best help, contact Micah (478) 357-2664 and he will let you know areas where you are needed.

Scholarship Application

We believe that it is so important that your child(ren) come to our camps and retreats that we want nothing to hold them back from coming. There are families within our church who feel the same way.

If you cannot afford to send your teens to any one of our camps or retreats, please do not let this stop them from coming. Simply let Micah know and he will get it worked out for you!

Parent Meeting

Join us on Wednesday, March 13th immediately following the youth service for a brief parent meeting to cover the details of this weekend...
