Keeping the Crew up to Date! Volume 1 Issue 31 - 4/24/22
Greetings Clipper Nation!
It was nice to end last week with some warmer temperatures. As the temperatures increase, it is important to help students remember that we still have a dress code. Please encourage your student to dress appropriately for school. This includes not having shorts that are too short and no midriffs showing.
As we enter this week, it will be the last week in April, and we will celebrate with a school spirit week organized by the SGA. Monday starts with class wars. 9th graders should wear gray, 10th graders should wear white, 11th graders black, and 12th graders red. Be sure to check out the themes for the other days.
Just so it doesn't sneak up on us, a reminder that mid-term is right around the corner as teachers must submit progress report grades on May 9th and progress reports go live on May 11th.
Tonight is a big night for a former JMB graduate as he competes to stay on American Idol. Let's join together and vote for Jay Copeland. Please see the voting details below.
The show airs at 8 pm tonight on 47 ABC. The final is in May, but Jay needs our votes to continue in the competition. Voting begins at the start of the episode and ends with the last commercial break. Fans can cast up to 30 votes per episode (10 PER VOTING METHOD).
Here's how you can vote:
- Go online to americanidol.com/vote (and create a free account)
- Download the American Idol app via the App Store or Google play
- Text the number 1 to 21523

How do I Stay in the Know?
The best way to stay in the know is to make sure we have accurate information on file. Please look over all the information on the Student Personal Data and Enrollment Information Form as this is the information we currently have on file for you. Make any corrections to the form in blue. If you need additional space for emergency contact use a separate sheet of paper. Sign the back of the form and return it to the school. If you prefer to fill out a new form you can find a copy on our website.
