WOW... and just like that the first quarter of the school year is coming to a close! We hope that you and your children have had a wonderful first quarter here at Weddington Hills Elementary. During this time, students were encouraged to bring in supplies such as new toothbrushes, floss, or small tubes of toothpaste. In February, Mrs. Highsmith will travel to Honduras to deliver these supplies to a school and orphanage!

Willy Wonka Jr. is Scheduled!
Searching for a world of Pure Imagination? Look no further, the 5 Golden Tickets have been found! Join us as we tour Willy Wonka's candy factory on February 1st and 2nd!
This year's production of Willy Wonka Jr. is in full swing! We have over one hundred third, fourth, and fifth grade students in the show. Our students are hard at work learning their songs, speaking parts, and dances! Our amazing costume team have the costumes moving right along and set creation will begin in December. Practices began in September and will continue through January. The show is scheduled for February 1st and 2nd at Winkler Middle School. Tickets will be going on sale in January.
