We are excited to announce our slate of officers for the 2013-14 school year!

The slate and budget will be voted on during the last Parent Guild meeting of the school year on Wednesday, May 1st at 8:05 in Hauser Hall. We hope you can join us.

Teacher Appreciation Week Luncheon
Teacher Appreciation week is May 6th - 10th. We will be having a luncheon for the teachers on Tuesday, May 7th and are looking for the following volunteers:
- Volunteers to help setup Hauser Hall for the luncheon at 9:30am
- PS3, Pre-K and Kindergarten parents to monitor the cafeteria during the 10:45am lunch
- Food donations: Baguettes or breads (sliced), Fruit, and bite-sized desserts

Teacher Appreciation Week Student Project
We will be creating a garden collage of messages to show our teachers and staff how much we value them. In the Friday Folders, students will bring home a cut out to write a note or message to their teacher or any staff member.
Please be sure to write the teacher's or staff member's name on the front and your student's name on the back. Extra cutouts for additional messages and the collection box will be located outside Nurse Michelle's office. Please return these notes by Friday, May 3rd and thank you for your help in showing the teachers how much we appreciate our teachers!
Heritage Festival - Volunteer Needs
Heritage Festival is a school-wide event on May 10th and we are looking for volunteers to help in the following ways:
We really need 2-3 parents to host a U.S.A country booth, highlighting American culture. Volunteers will bring items and photos to display at the booth (e.g. flags, baseballs, historical events, symbols, famous sites, pop culture) and will staff the booth from 9:15 -12:45 on Friday, May 10th.
In addition, we have volunteer opportunities to help decorate and work the event. Volunteers shifts are 2-3 hours and you can sign up by clicking here.

End of Year Appreciation Fund: May 1st -15th
We are pleased to offer the End of Year Appreciation Fund again as a way to recognize St. Mark's teachers and staff. Participation is completely voluntary and we will collect donations to be divided equally from May 1st through May 15th. Please stay tuned for details on how to participate.
