This Week:
3/15: Monday is a "A" Day! See DLD assignment on Monday for this class.
Focus: Digital Learning Week
Throughout the week of March 16-20, we will have Digital Learning Days.
It is very important for students to keep up with their work and continue their learning on these Digital Learning Days. Assignments will be posted by 9:00 am and teachers will be available throughout the day through eClass and/or email. See each teacher's page for their specific office hours.
Students should be checking each teacher's Activity Feed for day to day assignments each day. Please ensure that your child "expands" the Activity Feed widget on each teacher's course page starting on Monday.
On Thursday, March 19, the school system will announce its plans for March 23-27, following a thorough review of the COVID-19 situation at that time.

Reminder: Community Service and Action 2019-2020
The IB MYP focus on community service and action is meant to encourage and enable students to:
Generate creative new insights and develop deeper understandings of local and global issues
- Communicate effectively in a variety of situations
- Demonstrate responsible action through, or as a result of, learning
- Appreciate the process of learning in service to and for others and take pride in their accomplishments
At Pinckneyville, we want to expand classroom learning to the community and beyond. To do so, students are encouraged to identify areas where they can apply personal strengths to organizations or areas in need. Students should begin service and action hours and use the log in the front of the student agenda and log hours for the school year on the Pinckneyville Website! (10+ hours by May 1) Be sure to keep proof of service with signatures in your student's agenda book. There will be prizes and awards for top participants!
