SAFETY! When it comes to our students, safety is our #1 priority. One important way you can help with safety is to help make our parking lot and surrounding streets as safe as possible. Office Hours on Campus: If your student is on campus and wants to go to Office Hours in person, they should ask for an appointment with the appropriate teacher. If they need to access Office Hours on campus, but they are doing so on a computer, they can go to Rooms 307, 402, 702, 703, 1001, 1003, 1004, & 1006 for a place to login with supervision.

The gate between MCHS and BMMS is not accessible in order to promote safety and COVID protocols between both schools.

School lockers will not be accessible to promote social distancing.

BMMS Hero Squad Fundraiser: Thank you, to those of you who have donated already to our School fundraiser with LLS to help fight against Cancer. We have had a successful first week of fundraising with our school raising an amazing $1,300 already. We have 2 more weeks of fundraising and any donation amount helps. Please consider donating to our BMMS Page using the link below, OR YOUR STUDENT's Homeroom class page. (That link will be mailed to you by the teacher or can be looked up on the BMMS Page)

This fundraiser is ONLY successful because of the amazingly generous families we have here at BMMS and for that, we are SO LUCKY, and THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts.

National History Day announced the winners for the San Diego Competition. I had 6 projects compete and our kids won Individual Documentary (Ellie K.) and runner up (Aadhya P.), and also won Group Documentary (Griffin S., Anay K., and Maanit M.). We are so proud of our students! Way to go #Hardworking Raiders!

My thoughts are with our Asian American families here at BMMS and throughout our country. Many Asian American and Pacific Islander families have felt the impact of racism. Black Mountain Middle School will continue to make inclusion and equity our priorities as we look to build the most inclusive community possible. Each and every one of our students, families and staff members deserve to feel safe and respected. Thank you for your support.
