Reminders about Car Rider Dropoff
- Please ensure that your students are prepared to get out of the vehicle before you pull up to stop (ready to get out with backpacks, masks, water bottles, etc.)
- If your child is reluctant to exit the vehicle, or if they are unprepared to exit the vehicle for any reason, please pull forward and to the left side while you resolve the issue, so that the line can continue to progress
- For safety reasons, students should exit the car on the passenger side.
- To avoid your child receiving a tardy and impacting their attendance, please attempt to complete drop-off before 9:12
Resources for families
Hello! My name is Meghan Shipley, School Community Resource Specialist. My main role at Nashua is to help families get connected to resources and outside agencies throughout the Kansas City area. If your family is in need of clothing, food, shelter, or other needs, please click on the link. It is a simple way to mark what you need and I will be able to reach out and offer services. This form will be left up all year long. Feel free to utilize this tool anytime you may be in need!
The Book Fair is Coming Soon!

BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! We are looking for volunteers to help make our fall book fair a success! Volunteers are needed during the fair to help students find books and work the cash register. We also need volunteers for after the fair to help tear down. Any volunteers who work for 2 hours will earn $5 scholastic dollars towards books at our fair!
Know a middle or high schooler looking to earn service hours? We can use their help as well. These volunteers can help students find books and help restock (junior crew volunteers will not help cashier or handle money!) Any Questions, feel free to reach out to Diane Shields at 816-507-6541 Thank you for helping!
