Abolitionism - to feel free!

Reform Movement

Era in which social movements started to claim more justice, rights and liberty. The women and groups anti slavery were key points that led to a better conditions for the women as equal for slaves but only some states took this theme seriously.

During the 1830s in Massachusetts the first female anti-slavery society was founded established by a black woman. By 1833 the american anti-slavery society was founded, pledging immediate emancipation without expatriation. The slavery abolition act of 1833 abolished slavery throughout most of the British Empire. The activists often embraced different religious beliefs, different goal and strategies and different visions of the ideal society.

The reform movement was motivated by the American sentiment that sharing in a good life was the right of all people.

-Change aspects of society.

-Find independence from the patriarchal system.

-Rise funds for women's education, living conditions and give importance to women's ideas in New York.

-Achieve the right to vote.

Mississippi, Maine and Massachusetts enacted the married women's property laws between 1839 and 1845.

-Write at least 10 persuasive or expository essays with 10 reasons why women should receive a good education, and read it to the public. This reasons will convince some of the people and it will inspire women to demand what they deserve. I guess.

-Write a book in which I highlight the skills of women needed in society. It will title a "key we can't use"

As a formal member of the women's right; our movement achieved the right for women property in the Seneca falls convention. This accomplishment was the beginning of a new society.

Elizabeth Candy Stanton

Born on November 12, 1815, in Johnstown, New York, Elizabeth Candy Stanton was a leading figure of the early woman's movement. Her Declaration of Sentiments was a revolutionary call for women's rights. Stanton was the president of the National Woman Suffrage Association for 20 years and worked closely with me.

Key event

After the Seneca falls convention the first National Women's Rights Convention takes place in Worcester, Mass, attracting more than 1,000 participants.

Funds rising

-If women could study or be prepared for a good job (politician, doctor, economist) during war times, men could go to war while women take care of the country. For example, war is likely to happen, a war with Britain happened again, women in home would take men's job and avoid an economy crash.

-If women get the right to vote, it could benefit some candidates for some years.

-I would use the american idealism that everyone is created equal what is better that show improvements in the american society over the Europeans.

People that donate a large amount of money will get... A textile machine.

People that donate a good amount of money will get... 5 horses, 2 cows and 3 goats one of them is called hogar.

People that donate a small amount of money will get... their name written in the wall of society's pride.
