The Bengal BEAT
Meadow Lane Bengals Weekly Update: September 8th
Life @ the Lane
Finding reasons to celebrate and bring a bit of joy into our building is a priority for the Meadow Lane staff. While our events may not always resemble celebrations of the past, we wish to take advantage of all the small moments and capitalize on our students' excitement for learning. Next Wednesday (9/15), MLE will have our own DOT Day, an international day used to celebrate creativity, courage, and collaboration (three traits that are prevalent within our classrooms).
One way we wish to celebrate is by having students dress in a certain color, let's show our school spirit!
Always rooting for our MLE Bengals,
Dr. J & Mr. Fritz
P.S. A book called The Dot by Peter. H. Reynolds inspired International Dot Day.

Arrival and Dismissal @ MLE
Here are a few reminders to help assist our team:
We ask that family members stay in their vehicle when dropping off each morning. Our teachers and staff will assist if students have difficulty getting out to the car.
1. Students arriving after 9:10 are considered tardy and need an adult to walk them inside.
2. All transportation changes need to be made by 1:00 PM by calling 816-986-3250.
3. Please be mindful that our offices close at 4:30. Students must have reliable transportation.

MAP Info (4th-6th grade)
The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) Grade-level Assessments evaluate student's progress toward Missouri Learning Standards. Each test produces an Individual Student Report (ISR) that includes Achievement Level and a short description of the knowledge and skill that are typically demonstrated by students in each achievement level. Currently, student ISRs are available in the DRC Insight platform and may be obtained at your request. The district is awaiting a paper version of this report. Meadow Lane plans to distribute ISR reports by Parent-Teacher Conferences.
