What is Laminar Flow and Turbulent Flow?
Laminar flow is smooth and a regular path
and
Turbulent flow is an irregular flow.
4 types of Laminar flow? and 4 types of Turbulent flow?
4 types of laminar flow:
1. Gas
2. Lake
3. Car
4. Fish swimming in its tank
4 types of turbulent flow:
1. Snow mobiling
2. Water waves
3. Helicopter
4. Rocket Ship
Laminar Flow
Gas
Gas is a laminar flow because its flow is smooth and has a regular path because if it was turbulent flow then it would be a rough path.
Lake
A lake the movement of the water in lakes is smooth the movement is slow theres no gushs of winds blowing the water to make it turbulent flow.
Fish swimming
Fish swimming in its tank is laminar flow because the fish swims slow and it does not create a rough pathway with water blowing in different ways the water in the tank is steady.
Turbulent Flow
Rocket Ship
Have you ever wondered why a rocket ship is turbulent flow? A rocket ship is turbulent flow one because when it releases all that pollution the smoke that comes out of the rocket is not a smooth movement theres buffs of smoke and secondly when it goes up in the air theres alot of wind blowing in different directions facing the rocket etc.
Water Waves
Why water waves is turbulent flow? Water waves is turbulent flow because the wind gushing makes the watch have an irregular shape as you can tell in the picture the water is going in different directions.
Snowmobiling
Snowmobiling is turbulent flow because when the mobile rushes down the hill all that snow comes it goes in different direction the snow is rough has an irregular shape. As you can in the picture the snow is everywhere around the snowmobile.
