Message from the Superintendent
July 8: Students First Day of School Moved to Sept. 8th
Parents/Caregivers, Students and Staff:
Governor Justice announced today at approximately 12:30 pm that schools will open for students on September 8th. (Berkeley County Schools was originally scheduled to open for students on Aug. 18th). Additional information will be provided by the WV Dept of Education tomorrow morning and we will provide an update on Thursday afternoon.
Berkeley County Schools wants your student back in school. We are working daily to develop an action plan to safely return students and staff to school per local, state, and national health and safety guidelines and provide academic progress for all our children.
We sincerely thank you for your ongoing patience and cooperation. We are all in this together.
