Help Promote School Spirit!
Our Tiger Pride Points system was put in place 3 years ago to help promote school spirit. It is a fun way to support the students’ activities/sports, dress up during spirit days, and provides an extension to an already positive school culture. With this, students can earn prizes based on the points they accumulate throughout the semester. That prize money has to come from somewhere and in the midst of a global pandemic, fundraising to keep such programs going has been a struggle. We typically raise our money on campus; therefore, that poses the question, "How will we make up for not being able to hold many fundraisers the end of Spring 2020 semester, and now into the Fall?" We need your help! Tiger Pride Points support ALL students on campus, not just Scream team. This is simply the donation page/account we use to support all students. This is taking the place of many fundraisers to continue providing rewards and activities all students have the opportunity to earn.
Expectations for Students
Students should arrive to their virtual classes on time and “dressed” for school (meaning, please do not attend classes in sleep attire, bathing suits, or shorts only). Please help us by encouraging your child to wear clothing that is school appropriate. Take a few minutes during the first week of school to review the FBISD Code of Conduct with your child here https://www.fortbendisd.com/studentcodeofconduct
Video Tutorial - 1st Time Laptop Access for Parents/Students
Please share this link with staff, teachers, parents/guardians, or students who may need help with logging in or using their laptops for the first time. It covers a variety of issues parents/students may encounter.
For now, if your student is experiencing issues with their student password, please visit www.fortbendisd.com/studentpassword for instructions. This video is a helpful tool to prepare you and your child for online learning in Teams, Schoology, and Skyward. A Technology Resources page is also available for more information.
Child Nutrition - Free & Reduced Meal Application and Grab and Go Meals
FBISD encourages all families to complete the Free & Reduced Meals application, at SchoolCafe, and families who qualified in the 2019-20 school year will need to reapply.
Grab and Go Meals will be available at 10 locations this school year, beginning August 17, for only FBISD students at one of the following status categories - “Paid,” “Reduced,” or “Free.” Students and parents will need to use their student ID number or badge at the locations to purchase meals.

Details for Online Learning
Please click here to view the daily student schedule during virtual learning. Important things to note:
- Attendance will be taken during all synchronous classes and the state law for 90% attendance is in effect. Students need to plan on logging in to their classes for direct instruction every day during these times.
- Each class will have approximately 30 minutes of asynchronous learning experiences each week. Time in the schedule is allotted for this, but students may also complete asynchronous activities during other times outside of the school day (just like traditional homework).
- Teachers will post their tutorial times in Schoology, but students should also communicate with their teachers through the Microsoft Teams app about specific help as the need arises.
- We are on a block schedule of sorts, but students will see all seven teachers on Wednesdays for class check in’s.
- Students will no longer have to log in to multiple sites- 1Link is now a single sign in solution. Click here to learn more.
Your contribution will help support periodic Staff specific activities and appreciation events, such as the Welcome-Back breakfast, luncheons, and holiday festivities throughout the year. Gifts and various spirit related items may also be included.
**Donations may be made for any amount -- $10, $20, $50 you choose!
Donations to Travis HS are tax deductible. Please save your receipt for tax purposes.
**Thank you for your generous support!
