Question Preview
We have another very special guest host joining us for this week's #UDLchat: Luis Pérez (@eyeonaxs), Inclusive Learning Evangelist and Technical Assistance Specialist for the National Center on Accessible Educational Materials for Learning (AEM Center) at CAST. Luis is an amazing source of knowledge regarding all things UDL, mobile learning, disability advocacy, photography, and accessibility, so we're so fortunate to have him guide our conversation around how accessible materials fit into the UDL framework.
Questions:
-
Q1: Where do accessibility and AEM fit into the broader practice of UDL?
Q2: What are your biggest pain points when it comes to accessibility in the classroom? What strategies have you tried to address those pain points?
Q3: What are your favorite CAST and AEM Center resources for learning about accessibility?
Q4: What is one thing you plan to do over the next few months to make your UDL practice more accessible?
So what's this #UDLchat all about?
#UDLchat is a bi-monthly Twitter chat focused on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). We are a virtual community of practitioners, enthusiasts, and evangelists eager to discuss resources, successes, and challenges in implementing UDL in a wide variety of environments and contexts.
Join us every 1st & 3rd Wednesday from 6-6:30pm PT / 9-9:30pm ET (UTC-4) for a rapid-fire learning-focused chat, and build your PLN!
