Davidson Weekly Newsletter
April 5th - April 11th
I don't know about your family, but mine..we've gone back to the basics in many ways. Life is slower, simpler. Even in these crazy and stressful times, we've found this was a much needed change of pace and actually an unexpected but appreciated break from the hustle and bustle.
Let's take it back to the basics this week. Look at this weeks National Days, they are quite fitting in many ways, in my opinion.
- Put the smart phone down and Read a Road Map. Plan a drive with your mapped route when you are able to go or scale it down and go on a walk with your mapped route.
- While most of us no longer have Eight Tracks, you can still play some throwback music from the Eight Track Tape Deck Days. Let the kids listen to what they have been missing out on.
- Get in touch with your inner writer and skip the housework for the day :)
This week we have some very important information to share with you about Parent University Sessions coming up this week. You will also find a PDF file on how to remove your student from student initiated chats in Microsoft Teams.

Technology Support During E-Learning
The NKC Schools Technology department will also offer device support in person at the same times and locations as meal pick up services at the feeder pattern high schools. This will provide an opportunity for families to get assistance with student devices, including iPads and Macs. This will also be the location where you will drop-off or pick up devices for repair. Simply drive up at the front entrance of your feeder pattern high school between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and let a staff member know that you are looking for assistance with technology.
