February 15, 2019
Thanks to all of our PTO parents who helped with the Valentine's Day classroom parties yesterday. The last classroom party of the school year was enjoyed by all and the students and staff were very appreciative of the games and the creative "HEART" healthy snacks provided by the parents. We are so lucky to have such a supportive group of parents that are able to volunteer and make such events as our classroom parties so fun and enjoyable for the students!
Parents, your support is needed to help promote the next District #13 Blood Drive, which is scheduled for Tuesday, February 19tht between 2:00-7:00 pm in the DuJardin gym. Did you know that only 3% of those people eligible and able to donate blood actually do! Thanks in advance for your support with this D13 community event. Call the school office, 630-894-9200 to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome. Click here for additional information.
Students will not be in attendance on Monday, February 18th for Presidents Day, Friday, March 1st is Teacher Institute Day or Monday, March 4th due to the Casimir Pulaski holiday.

5Essentials Parent Survey - Please take this survey - Your feedback is welcome!
2018-19 Illinois Parent Survey
Dear Parent, The Illinois State Board of Education invites you to participate in a school improvement survey for parents. Please Note: This survey is NOT a component of the 5Essentials Organizing Schools for Improvement Survey. In this survey, you will be asked to provide feedback about your child’s school. Please consider your child’s current experience at school (i.e., 2018-2019 school year). This survey is designed to help school and district leadership improve their understanding of the parent/school relationship.
All responses are completely anonymous. Responses to anonymous surveys cannot be traced back to the respondent. Additionally, your responses will be combined with other parents from your child's school and summarized in a school report to further protect your anonymity. Your participation in this survey is voluntary and you have the right to discontinue participation at any point.
If you have more than one (1) child, you may elect to participate multiple times.
The 5Essentials Parent Survey is now open. Parents are encouraged to complete this survey. Please use the following link to access the parent survey: http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/
