The Weekly Hoot
September 9-15, 2019
Greetings All -
Well....I don't know about ya'll, but this has been the longest short week ever! Not even gonna lie...I came home last night and crashed!! Trying to get a few things done this morning and then get wedding ready for Jaime's wedding this afternoon.
This week has been one of testing, getting SLO's approved, and getting in the swing with Pearson. I know all of you are tired, a little stressed, and just wanting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. LOL! I feel ya! Just know that we are all in this together and everything WILL end up getting done. In between the moments of insanity, please take a moment to breathe. With that being said, please make sure you are using your intervention time wisely to get the BOY testing done so we can get all of the pieces in place for a great year.
Just a reminder that we need to be very cognizant of times we drop off and pick up students to lunch and specials. Please go with iPhone times and don't drop off early or pick up late. As you all know, this leads to mass confusion. :)
I will be beginning T-TESS conferences on Monday. I will send out the schedule at some point this weekend about your date and time. Please refer to it and have your self-assessment done by then so that the conference goes smoothly. Remember, all we are doing is going over your self-assessment and choosing a goal or two. Don't stress!
September 1st has rolled around, so if you are in need of anything budget-wise, now is the time to send it in. Remember to make sure it is a "need" and not a "want." The "wants" are what our PTO and Education Foundation grants are for. We are so lucky to have those avenues!!
Lastly, I know you all got Natalie's letter that I sent out yesterday. She will be missed greatly, but I am so excited that she has agreed to continue to volunteer in the same capacity that she did last year. Good luck to you Natalie!
Everyone have a great weekend. I plan on wedding festivities today and then a "relaxing Sunday in the south" with church, a big lunch, and some football! I hope everyone does something they love as well! See you on Monday!
Building Champions!
Love to all,
Marcy
