Danny Buderus
Danny Buderus was born on the sixth of February 1978. He played in both of the Newcastle Knights' grand final wins in 1997 and 2001. Danny was captain and hooker of the NSW Blues and played for Australia in multiple test matches and rugby league world cups always keeping his immortal position of hooker. Danny Buderus won one Dally M Medal. In 2013 he was awarded for being the most capped player for the Newcastle Knights. Although Danny was an immortal in the NRL he moved to England in 2009 to play for the Leeds Rhinos. He came back to the NRL in 2013 for his last year and to hopefully win the grand final one last time. Unfortunately they were defeated by the Sydney Roosters in the grand final qualifier. Danny Buderus changed Australian rugby league because he will always be known as number one hooker.
