GRADING POLICY
Daily grades are in-class assignments completed during station times.
Major grades are tests/assessments or projects that took multiple class periods to complete.
In fourth grade, daily and major grades are weighed 50/50 for students' overall grade.

*Assignments not completed during class time may be completed at home.
*Assignments scoring below a 70 will be eligible for corrections up to a 70. (If all corrections are correct)
*ALL CORRECTIONS MUST BE MADE AND TURNED IN WITHIN 10 SCHOOL DAYS OF ASSIGNMENTS BEING RETURNED.
Major: Tests/Assessments or Projects
*Assignments may only be completed at school.
*Unit Assessments do not go home.
*Test/Assessment or Project grades scoring below a 70 will be eligible for reteaching and corrections up to a 70. (If all corrections are correct.)
*ALL CORRECTIONS MUST BE MADE AND TURNED IN WITHIN 10 SCHOOL DAYS OF ASSIGNMENTS BEING RETURNED.

Homework is provided to reinforce and practice skills learned in class.

*If your student would like to attach a separate sheet of paper for their reading responses, please do so!
In Math, fourth graders should be writing their assigned pages in their planners for each night (Monday- Thursday) and putting the page(s) in their binder. An average of 5-10 problems will be assigned each night, as decided by your student's homeroom teacher.
*NO HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE TAKEN FOR A GRADE*
