Abandoned At Walmart
By Anna
If you love someone your supposed to let them go right?
We stopped the car hopping out and walking towards the place buzzing with mothers and children drawn together like moths drawn to flames. We came upon the doors, I used the force to open them slowly for I was not as trained as I am now. The sign above us flickered slightly but soon after shined brightly reading the word Walmart. She entered through the doors as I held them open using my awesome brain skills, her name is Brooke , she is my aunt. I enter slowly thinking of brainwashing Brooke because I wanted to go and play in the toys aisle, but I decided that would be plan B. I asked hesitantly and to my surprise she said yes. “Meet me back here ok?” she asked “yeah sure” was my reply because I wasn’t really paying attention to what she was saying because I was to excited, just bubbling with joy. So off I went to the glorious toys.
I ran down the aisles swerving in between mothers and carts nearly wiping out an elderly lady, I politely said sorry and walked far enough to were she couldn’t see me and ran. When I got to the toy aisle I was buzzing with energy like a firework already lit about to explode at any minute. The first thing I did was mess around with a hula-hoop, then a bouncy ball, lastly one of the huge balls located in those big boxes. I was in the middle of the aisle playing around when I seen a worker turn the corner coming in my direction, I put the ball back and left the toy aisle going to search for Brooke, acting as though I was never playing with the toys. I went back to the aisle I left Brooke in but she wasn’t there, so I looked in the neighboring aisles which she did not occupy. Now me being a young had thought to get help but I have a donkey like trait, being stubborn took that idea to the trash, so I ran to the food aisles looking through each aisle. I was astounded that she wasn’t in any of those aisles. I have a big family, so I thought maybe she was buying us some stuff for dinner but I guess not.
I left to go check the clothing area, first checking the boys because she might have wanted to get her boys something. Then the men's maybe her husband needed clothes. I checked the girls because her daughter loves clothes and might have wanted her mom to get her some. Than women's, I checked the woman's last because I know Brooke was a generous person and would put others needs before her own. But she wasn’t in any of those places. I was losing hope when I stumbled upon the dressing rooms, and a worker.
