Title I Parent Survey

Hello WRJH Families!!

As you may know, Waggoner Road JH is a Title I funded school. This means that WRJH receives supplemental federal Title I funds to assist in meeting students' educational goals.

We have implemented some new Title I programming this year and would like your feedback to assist us with planning for next school year. Please take a few minutes to complete the attached Title I Parent Survey below. If you have any questions, please contact the Main Office at 614-501-5700.

Outside Deliveries

We have seen an increase in outside deliveries such as food, flowers, balloons, etc. to the school. The Student Code of Conduct states that "Waggoner Road Junior High School will not accept non-emergency or non-academic deliveries. These items include but are not limited to, floral deliveries, balloon deliveries and food deliveries." Any non-emergency or non-academic deliveries to the school will be refused or held at the Main Office until the end of the school day.

Attendance Policies/Information

In compliance with the Ohio General Assembly and House Bill 410, absences are no longer counted as how many days missed, but by how many hours of school missed. Therefore, if a student misses 38 or more hours within a given month, or 65 or more hours within the year, excused or unexcused, we are required to send a letter to notify you of the hours missed. Our notification is not a judgment on the reason for the absence, simply the application of the law. Our team – including your child’s teachers, social worker and building administrators – is here to partner with you on your child’s educational journey.

Please remember that you must report school absences for EACH DAY that your child is absent by contacting Mrs. Bobbi Butler at or calling 614-501-5700.
