What does patience means to CCA students?
The December Character Trait of the Month at CCA is Patience. It is based on Colossians 3:12 which says, "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." Colby in 4th grade said that patience is being calm and waiting for things. Carissa in 7th grade said that patience means not immediately getting upset at your siblings when they are annoying you. Amya in 10th grade said that patience was being kind enough to wait for the right time to do things. She also said that patience is a sign of being a good person. --Taylor

Forty-two students said before Thanksgiving and forty-eight students said after Thanksgiving. According to Yahoo, 27 percent of adults decorate before Thanksgiving. --Marlee
Guest Speaker in the US History/Constitution class: Senator, Rick Bratton
Senator, Rick Bratton visited CCA to speak to one of Mr. Patterson's History classes about the Constitution and what it stands for. The Junior class was invited to sit in on the conversation as well. Thank you Senator Bratton, for taking time out of your schedule to speak to CCA students about our constitution and what it means to our nation. --Audrey
