A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has donated items for the party. Because of you, we have all slots filled! Please send in items as soon as possible to the classroom.

Please encourage studying math facts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) at home. If you are unsure what facts your child should be studying, please email me. I can also print out flashcards to study at home. We will be testing this Thursday, December 17.

We are working on our gingerbread unit. Students will be reading different gingerbread stories to be inspired to write their own variation on the classic story. We will also write Christmas stories this week.

We are reviewing skills this week with different benchmark tests.

SRI & SMI testing

We will be taking our second SRI and SMI test right when we return from Christmas break. PLEASE encourage reading over break. We are wanting growth on this next test!
