Update on PFES Reopening Planning Progress


How to keep our children safe?

Ask

  • Cell phone student pickup waiting spot
  • Bus procedures
  • Visitors by appointment or delivery only
  • Please prepare your child
  • Day 1, first-hour plan
  • Cubby plan
  • Please look for the online registration starting on or about August 10
  • Parents self-health screening plan and software system for tracking
  • masks required on school buses and other places indoors where spacing is difficult
  • masks will not be required in classrooms unless social distancing is difficult
  • 3 scenarios and schedule details are going to be developed next week

Daily Self-Screening

All students and employees need to daily self-screen before coming to school or other events. What follows are the guidelines for self-screening each day:

Please do not come to school/events if you have a temperature of greater than 100.4 degrees, or if you exhibit two or more of the following symptoms:


The CSD will provide access to an app that will be available in your phone app store for recording this daily.


The questions will ask about the following:


  • Chills
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing Muscle or body aches
  • New onset of severe headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Nausea or vomiting
