It Takes a Village!
On Monday, we will be gathering at 8:00 am in the Library to go over a few things in order to help prepare for our students' virtual learning opportunity. Please arrive on time. Monday and Tuesday will be an all-hands-on-deck experience. We will work together to problem-solve creatively in order to provide our students with unique learning opportunities via virtual formats. The district will be providing training on Monday as well to help prepare everyone. Students and/or families will be able to enter Wilson on Tuesday from 12:00 pm-7:00 pm to pick up any needed materials (chromebooks, books, instruments, etc.).
Know that we are here to support you throughout this learning experience. Do not hesitate to call us up to help you in your rooms on Monday or Tuesday. In addition, Cory and I will be available to help you during the days we are out of the building. You can reach us on our cells or by email.

Infinite Campus Updates
We will be changing how reserve teachers access the system. Each building will have one general building-specific reserve teacher account that all substitute teachers will use. The login information for this account will be shared with building secretaries. Reserve teacher accounts connected to each individual teacher will then be removed from the system.
We will be removing access to the Daily Attendance tool for all but secretaries who manage student attendance. This tool is meant for attendance secretaries who are ultimately responsible for verifying and finalizing student attendance with attendance codes. Teachers have access to check individual student attendance through the attendance tab on the general Student Information page.
We are reviewing and updating user groups and removing individual tool rights. All tool rights will be assigned based upon user groups to which staff members belong. In addition to ensuring a higher level of data security, this also allows for efficiency in assigning IC access based upon district roles and assignments. Some changes have already been made. We will be working with Kari from IC in mid-February to continue this work.
