Grad Night - June 7th
WHAT IS THE GRADUATION PARTY?
Class of 2024 graduation party is an opportunity for all seniors to participate in a special evening of celebration, fun, and memories. This celebration is not a school-sponsored event but has been planned and organized by a SHS 4A Booster Club parent volunteer committee of the SHS Class of 2024. This celebration is designed to provide the Class of 2024 with an avenue for celebrating their successful educational achievement with their classmates in a safe and secure environment.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
The Grad Night Celebration is open to all Stanwood High and Lincoln Hill High School Class of 2024 graduating seniors.
WHERE WILL THE GRADUATION PARTY BE HELD?
The location of the celebration will be a surprise to the students until they arrive at the site. The planning committee will know where the students are at all times. We've kept it a surprise for a good reason- safety! This event is for the Class of 2024 only, and we do not want any uninvited guests.
WHEN DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
Buses will leave immediately following the completion of graduation ceremonies at SHS on June 7, 2024, and will return to SHS early the following morning, June 8, 2024.

Roots to Wings - Graduation Walk - June 7th
We are excited to continue a favorite tradition for our graduating seniors from SHS and LHHS. The Class of 2024 will participate in a “Roots to Wings” Graduation Walk at our local elementary schools on Friday, June 7th. This is an event in which graduating seniors return to their former elementary school in the district for one last walk down the halls. Elementary students and teachers in the schools line the halls to commemorate and congratulate the graduates for completing their long journey.
The purpose is twofold: One, to serve as a time of reflection and celebration as graduates go back to “where it all started” before receiving their diplomas and passing over the final threshold on graduation night. Second, we hope that this tradition will serve as an impressionable memory that will inspire younger students to work hard and never give up as they travel on their own academic paths.
Students who did not attend a local elementary school will choose which elementary school to visit. Buses will depart from SHS at approximately 10:00 AM and return sometime mid-afternoon.
SENIORS:
No later than Friday, May 31st, seniors need to:
- Complete this Google Form (Sign up and select your elementary school)

This event was a fantastic success last year! Parents and guardians are welcome to come and watch and take pictures.
