A Message From The Principal
Greetings,
We are down to one more week of school for the 2019-2020 school year. All student's should be finalizing work and submitting to teachers for grading. Teachers will not be extending due dates pass the last day of school.
Seniors, please remember that you must submit all required course work to meet graduation requirements. Just because your name is read at the Virtual Ceremony does not guarantee that you will get your actual diploma. Course work must be completed.
All students are encouraged to keep checking email daily as information regarding summer school and next school year will be going out soon.
Summer school begins June 3rd. Check your email for updates.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Memorial day.
Stay Well.

VIRTUAL GRADUATION INFORMATION
Seniors should be receiving an email from "Marching Order", which is a company helping to build our virtual graduation. Please check your Spam Folder if you do not see it in your email. The email contains student specific login information as well as the link for accessing the website for uploading information and a picture. You will enter names with phonetic spellings and have the option to record your name so that the reader will say it correctly.
The deadline for photo submissions was extended until today, Friday, May 22nd. Please be reminded that all caps and gowns must be worn in their original form. Photos will not be accepted if caps and gowns are altered in any way. Additionally, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- All gowns should be completely zipped for the photo.
- Caps should be on and worn straight, with the tassel on your right.
- Please refrain from wearing sunglasses.
- Only wear school or military issued cords and stoles.
- Photos should only be of the individual graduate.

Device Help Desk--
If you are experiencing any trouble with your device please note that you may take your device to Warren Central High School Drive Thru Helpdesk. Help is available Monday-Friday, from 11-1pm at door 70.
Free Lunch Available-- Expanded Food Outreach--
In response to a change in participation numbers, we will be making a couple of adjustments to our food outreach program starting the week of May 4th. We will continue on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11-1 at 11 locations. Renaissance School, located at 30th and Post Road will be a new site and will replace Hawthorne Elementary. Wednesdays will continue to be 5:30 - 7 at 2 locations. Lakeside Elementary and now our Moorhead location at 8400 East Tenth Street will be a new site. Because there is a need for a refrigerated space, we could no longer use Post Road Christian Church.
If you find yourself in need beyond what is being offered, a District Community Outreach hotline and email have been created. You can either call 317-869-4308 or email MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us with your information. Someone from the district will contact you as soon as possible.

Counselor Corner -- Conversation With the Counselor
The FAFSA deadline has been extended!
How did your first week of e-learning go? As a school counselor who is used to seeing people face-to-face each day - it has definitely been an adjustment. I have enjoyed speaking with students and families on the phone. Seeing them in our Zoom meetings has been fun too! I miss our Renaissance students a lot!
As we all continue to adjust to this "new life" of self-distancing it is natural for everyone to be overwhelmed - kids and adults alike. Parents might feel the stress more than others as they try to continue working and homeschool their children. Take a look at this Sesame Street PSA for parents that will hopefully put a smile on your face.
For students and adults this 15 minute video gives great tips on managing stress and boredom. This school counselor from Illinois goes through several techniques and apps to help your mental health.
Please know you are not alone and we will get through this together. Please contact me if you need assistance with anything.
