We need parent tour guides for the first few days of school.
All volunteers must have current clearances on file with the front office. Please arrive 10 min prior to your shift so you have time to check in with the front office and pick up your tag.For the early morning shift, the front office will have a building map to assist with directions to teachers rooms (new teachers/classroom assignments).
Visit the Sign-Up Genius to participate. Thank you!
Yogurt Bar Breakfast Surprise for EV Teachers and Staff
Shhhhhh!! PTA is surprising the teachers and staff with a Yogurt Bar Breakfast on Tuesday Aug. 20th.
Would you like to help? We are looking for food contributions as well as help with set up and take down.
Visit the Sign-Up Genius to participate. Thank you!
All contributions can be dropped off at the front office no later than 7:45 am on Tues. Aug. 20th.
Classroom and School Helpers
Have you ever wondered how else you could help your child's classroom? Heard names of friends that you've never met? Wondered how teachers teach without superpowers?? (Spoiler - they do in fact have superpowers!)
Well, we have opportunities for you to come help in the classrooms so you can experience it for yourself! You can come in and help once a week, once a month, or even just once, depending on your schedule. You will need your clearances, so you can start that process now so you'll be ready for the start of school!

My name is Noelle Datta (Asha, 4th, Sachin, 2nd), and I'd love to help coordinate your time at school. We'll have a short training program so you can learn all the buzz words (like what is CAT Cash?), and then get you set up to go into the classroom.
So what you do need to do now? If you're interested, feel free to reach out to me (nadatta@gmail.com), and I can help you start the process. I will hold training sessions before the Kindergarten Open House on 8/27 at 5:15PM, and before and during both Back to School Nights: 9/4 and 9/11 at 5:45 and 7:45. Please attend any convenient session, and just RSVP on the google doc below so I can plan materials! Also, I will be hosting additional trainings as needed and to be announced.

INSTRUMENT RENTAL FOR 2019-2020
Dear Parents,
Is your 2nd through 5th grade child interested in playing a string instrument next year? Is your 3rd through 5th grade child interested in playing a band instrument next year? If you answered yes to either or both of these questions, you can rent an instrument through Menchey Music by clicking this link:
https://www.shopmenchey.com/aeRntSchoolSelect.aspx
Menchey Music will then notify us, and your child will be enrolled in our program(s). If you procure an instrument through another means, let us know so we can add your child to our band and/or orchestra for next year.
Thank you,
