SMART GOALS:

Writing Them, Teaching Them, and Reaching Them!

#SCCHAT: The Twitter forum for connecting, questions, and conversation for School Counselors around the globe.

Join me on September 2nd at 8pm EST for an hour-long Twitter conversation on implementing SMART Goals into your School Counseling program. Search #SCCHAT at 8pm EST on 9/2 to join the conversation!

Program SMART goals are based on school data and often focus attention on issues related to achievement, opportunity or achievement within the student population of a particular school (ASCA, 2012).

Wait... What are SMART Goals?

Here is a refresher! SMART is an acronym:

S=Specific

M=Measurable

A=Attainable

R=Results-Oriented

T=Time-Bound

Here is a great article from Edutopia on the subject: "SMART Goal Setting With Your Students"
