Johann Sebastian Bach
Born March 21, 1685 in Eisenach, Germany. Some of his famous writings were Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring.
George Frederick Handel
Born February 25, 1685 in Halle, Germany. Some of his famous writings were Rinaldo and Messiah.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Born January 27, 1756 in Salzburg, Austria. Some of his famous writings were Die Entführung and Don Giovanni.
Baroque
Baroque music expresses order, the fundamental order of the universe. Yet it is always lively and tuneful. Some famous Baroque works are Home from Home and Rediscovered.
Rococo
Characterized by lightness, elegance, and an exuberant use of curving, natural forms in ornamentation. Some famous Rococo works are Salon de Monsieur le Prince and Hôtel de Soubise.
