Germany surrendered on November 1918 and Germany and the allied nations signed the treaty of Versailles
Germany was one of the biggest parts of the United States including themselves in World War I. The German foreign minister, Arthur Zimmerman, sent a coded telegram to Mexico's president and promised lost land like Texas. The British intercepted the telegram and informed the United States.
Almost all American soldiers who flew military planes were trained at Kelly Field during the war. World War I was the first war in which airplanes were used to a significantly extent
Trenches like these were where some army soldiers fought from. These are the ground soldiers who had guns at the other army.

What caused the Dust Bowl and how did it affect farmers in Texas?
Farmers consisted on deep plowing which pulled native, deep-rooted grasses which held the soil down. It affected farmers because the Dust Bowl killed lots of crops
How were tenant farmers and miners affected by the Great Depression?
Tenant farmers would have a hard time making money with the stocks. Miners were affected by the Great Depression because the unemployment would take many people's jobs

During the great depression people needed money to live. For money people did crazy things and even put their children up for sale. One major reason people were broke was that banks were broke and closed before people could get their money.
President Roosevelt pulled the nation out of the Great Depression. He helped people by giving them jobs and helping them onto their feet.

The stock market crash of 1929 was when billions of dollars were lost and thousands of investors were wiped out. It all started when Black Thursday hit Wall street and some 16 million shares on the New York Exchange in a single day.
