PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora tātou,
Welcome back to Term 3. Yesterday was a wonderful start to our term, ngā mihi to you all for your part in the great start. It is going to be another busy term, with a lot on, both in and out of the classroom. We know that weather, health and Covid rules will need us to be flexible, and we know you understand that too. We are looking forward to an exciting term.
Yesterday we welcome two new staff. Whaea Jenn Perkins takes over the Room 21 teaching role until the end of the year and Miss Erin Smith will take on the Room 5 teaching role from next week. Naumai, haere mai korua.
This Friday, at 4pm we find out how our 2022 Showquest production faired in the National Finals. We are very proud Regional Champions and look forward to the online presentation. Best of luck to our actors and production team. We are very proud of you all.
This week also sees rugby trials for our 10-a-side tackle team. Great to see this getting back into the calendar. I look forward to watching them play. I also look forward to watching basketball this Thursday and catching up with the boxing fitness sessions next week. It continues to make me proud when I see how many opportunities children have through Levin East School.
Next week will see a Whānau House event - keep an eye on Facebook and Hero for more information.
Kia pai tō wiki.
Ngā mihi
