Hello!!
I met with our Total Wellness team from Cox Health to review our Health Risk Assessment Executive Summary and want to say a HUGE thanks to all those that participated. In order to receive the district incentive, at least 25% needed to complete the Health Risk Assessment and lab draw. We had 46% participation and that was even with the date change. So thank you! Once we get the reward, information will be sent out as to what we can do with it! For the most part, those that participated, showed below the national norm when it came to risk factors like high cholesterol, prediabetes, overweight, and so on, which means those that participated showed to be ‘healthier’ than the average person.
If you would like a copy of our complete summary, please contact me. I will be happy to distribute. Don’t forget to log on to your wellness portal to see your individual results.
The HRA for next year is tentatively scheduled for August 13th, the first work day for returning employees. Information on how to sign up and when you can sign up will be sent out closer to that time.
Have a great weekend!

Clinton Parents as Teachers educators, Beth McKinney and Judi Honeywell, took part in the Henry County Health Center’s recent “Baby Shower” Community Event on April 7, 2018.
This free event was attended by over 150 new or expectant mothers, fathers and family members. It provided no-cost car seats with installation, safe cribs to families, along with other fun activities and many great door prizes. Community vendors provided information, support and door prizes for participants. Parents as Teachers provided information on the district's program and were able to provide information to families interested in the program.
The event was a great success.
