Dear Young Families,
On Tuesday, April 13 all students (remote and in-person) will begin participating in a full day of learning from 9:00 am -3:00 pm. Starting on Tuesday, April 13 full day learning will run Monday-Friday . Teachers will be teaching in-person students and remote students on zoom at the same time. Classroom teachers have emailed out the daily schedule for our remote and in-person families to see how the day will run.
Here are important reminders for students and families about our full day of learning for all students. Please take a few moments to review these notes.
In-Person Learners (roomers)

- Families are able to view the district grab and go lunch menus at the following link. Lunch and milk are available at no cost. Please make sure your student knows if they are getting a school lunch or eating a lunch brought from home. Grab and Go Lunch Menus
- Please make sure that you have completed the dismissal and lunch form that was sent by your child's classroom teacher.
- Bus routes will be updated on Saturday for full day learning times.

- Click on student info tab
- If on a laptop scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to see the bus #, bus stop and times.
- If on the phone app, click on student info, click on "additional information" and scroll down to bottom.
Remote Learners (zoomers)
April Dates
Monday, 4/12: (Please note the different learning schedules depending upon grade level)
9:00-1:00 (kdg, 1st, 2nd)
9:00-11:30 (only 3rd, 4th, 5th students taking IAR in person at Young )
Asynchronous learning for 3rd, 4th, 5th grade students at home and not taking the IAR at school
- Tuesday, 4/13: First Full Day for all students (9:00-3:00) in-person and remote students
- Wednesday, 4/14: 9:00-3:00
- Thursday, 4/15: 9:00-3:00
- Friday, 4/16: 9:00-3:00
Monday, 4/19:
(Please note the different learning schedules depending upon grade level)
Kdg, 1st, 2nd: 9:00-3:00
Only 3rd, 4th, 5th students taking IAR are in person from 9:00-3:00
IAR testing will run from 9:00-11:30. There will not be a mid-day bus pick up.
Parents of remote students taking the IAR can pick up at 11:30.
Busses are only running on the 9:00 and 3:00 schedule.
3rd, 4th, 5th students not taking the IAR will work asynchronously until testing is over and then they will zoom into class from home.

IAR Assessments on 4/12 and 4/19 for 3rd, 4th, 5th Grade Students
- 3rd, 4th, 5th grade students need to bring headphones, fully charged chromebook, water bottle, book, and a pencil.
- Parents need to log onto to ParentVUE to complete self-certification for their child before they come for testing.
April 12: (9:00-11:30)
IAR Testing at Young (3rd, 4th, 5th grade)
3rd, 4th, 5th grade students not taking the IAR will work at home asynchronously.
April 19: (9:00-3:00)
IAR Testing at Young (3rd, 4th, 5th grade)
3rd, 4th, 5th Grade students taking the IAR will be at school from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
3rd, 4th, 5th grade students not taking the IAR will work at home asynchronously until testing is over.
3rd, 4th, 5th grade students at home on 4/19 will zoom into class in the afternoon.

Kindergarten 2021-2022
Our school welcomes our incoming Kindergarten students to the 2021-22 school year.
If you have a child who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2021, he or she is eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2021-2022 school year.
